Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will be the new Chief Minister of Goa after the BJP managed to stitch together an alliance with local parties and independent candidates to form the government in the state,
Parrikar will take oath as Chief Minister on Tuesday evening.
While the development was criticised by opposition parties, many are expressing concerns about him returning to state politics from being defence minister.
