There’s A Basic Flaw In Indian School Report Cards But One Small Change Can Make A Big Difference

Sonali Mushahary

Many parents encourage their children to follow the approved academic path instead of their own passions and dreams.

One reason for this is that traditional school report cards have always arranged subjects in a certain way, thus intentionally or unintentionally creating a hierarchy of sorts.

But this is what The Progressive Report Card looks like.

A circle was the simple solution to end the notion that certain subjects were more important than others.

Every subject including Physical Education and Fine Arts were included in the circle that can be viewed in any direction.

Schools across three Indian states have introduced the Progressive Report Card.

To take the movement to more schools and let children follow their dreams, join the movement.
