After Machher Jhol & Kosha Mangsho, Sawan Dutta Is Back Singing About Her Love For Shorsher Tel

Divya Chauhan

Remember Sawan Dutta, the youtuber who earlier simplified the recipe of Machher Jhol and Kosha Mangsho through her hilarious vlogs? Well, she’s back and this time she is in Amsterdam.

“I’m in a country, I don’t know too well

But I have brought with me, my own Shorsher tel” – she says

The song can be regarded as a tribute to every Bengali’s second love (because nothing can beat fish curry!) – Shorsher tel or mustard oil. With that red bindi and the monkey cap, Dutta’s character in the video truly captures the essence of Bengali culture. And it’s great to see that she can laugh about it.
