There are ads that sell products and then there are ads that sell dreams. This commercial directed by a German student, Eugen Merher, is a part of the latter.

Built around a former marathon runner whose body has given up, it is sure to leave you with a smile on your face.

Watch it here:

The video has already garnered 3 lakh views on YouTube and has received a lot of appreciation.

Merher, a 26-year-old student at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, told The Huffington Post, “We tried sending it to [Adidas’] communications department but they didn’t really react.”

Even though Adidas failed to take notice of this brilliant commercial, it’s clearly making waves!
