Every single day, there seems to be news of violence against women and looks like today is no different.
This latest incident occurred in Mumbai’s Nehru Nagar area, near Kurla in Mumbai.
The 17-year-old in the video was on her way to her tuition class when a man started hurling stones at her.
When she called for help, the man came forward and hit her.
All this while there were people around, none of whom came forward to help.
A complaint has been filed at the Nehru Nagar Police Station, under IPC section 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).

The sad part is how no one came to the girl’s rescue. And then we sit and wonder when this violence against women will end.
