In another harrowing incident of sexual abuse, a 19-year-old girl from Kishanganj district in Bihar was allegedly gang-raped by six men in front of her father.
According to reports, the six young men rang her doorbell late at night asking for water but instead dragged her out of the house to an isolated field. They also made her father watch the rape by taking him hostage and tying him to a tree.
Reportedly, they then threatened the survivor and her father not to approach the police but a complaint was lodged by the girl in her village’s police station against all the accused.
Kumar Ashish, Superintendent of Police said,
“I am personally monitoring the case and they will be arrested soon.”
Hopefully, justice is brought soon since all the six accused are apparently absconding.
