Many of us watch the lives the people live on screen, enjoy it and find a tiny escape from the perils of our everyday lives. But pop surrealist, Dina Goldstein begs to differ. She picks the most beloved characters from myths, legends, and fairy tales, places them in contemporary situations, forcing the viewer to face the brutal reality. Here are a few images from her series called Fallen Princesses, and they tell a very different tale when placed in the world we live in.
