On Sunday, Kate Middleton walked the grounds of Mumbai’s Oval Maidan wearing the prettiest summer dress the world has seen in a very long time. And no, we’re not exaggerating, because as soon as the world found out that it was an Anita Dongre creation, the designer’s website crashed.
In an interaction with Hindustan Times, Anita shared how constant queries from all over the world led to her website crashing on Monday night. The dress was part of Dongre’s Spring/Summer collection, titled Love Notes, which was showcased at the recently-concluded Lakme Fashion Week.
The dress was obviously a win both on the fashion scale and the comfort meter, because the Duchess managed a quick game of cricket wearing it.
