It’s generally believed that girls grow up faster than boys. It’s an idea that’s tossed around casually as an excuse for a lot of things men do. ‘Boys will be boys’ being one of them. But we never question why exactly women have to grow up faster and just passively accept it as an aphorism.
We tried to gauge the reasons…
Of course, there are many more considering our entire upbringing is designed to make us ‘mature’ faster.
And, the thing is we are in a constant process of unlearning years of conditioning, to relearn again.
