Fiat’s Latest Ad Is Unnecessarily Sexist. Is This How They’re Selling Cars Now?

It’s 2016! Everyone’s campaigning for gender equality and the death of sexism. 

At least, that’s what we thought! Because we just saw Fiat’s latest ad about the ‘bad boy machine’. Well, there’s nothing wrong with targeting bad boys, but how they show this supposed bad boy’s girlfriend in the ad is downright disgusting.

Has it seriously come to this? Is this how they’re going to try and sell cars now? Check it out for yourself: 

We can’t find the words to express our disgust at this ad. What’s with the blatant sexism? And to think someone thought this ad would turn out to be funny!
