Growing up, our generation had an astounding lack of communication with our parents. And I understand that communication is not the strongest suit for us Indians. The truth is that if we could turn back time and talk to our parents, we would.

But there are a few things I wish my 16-year-old self could have said to my parents. 

So, mums and dads, if you read this, that would be real nice.
