In February 2017, Anjali Lama became the first Nepali transgender model to walk the ramp for Lakme Fashion Week.
And now, she has achieved another milestone by landing a campaign with Calvin Klein.
Anjali, who hails from a small district in Nepal, has already walked the ramp for designers like Rajesh Pratap Singh and Gaurav Gupta.
And now she’s part of Calvin Klein’s regional campaign ‘My Statement. #MyCalvins’.
As part of the campaign, nine individuals from Asia present what balance means to them. The campaign also features artists like Japanese filmmaker Shiori Ito and Chinese photographer Tong Meng and others.
It’s amazing that Anjali has not only turned her dream true, but also stands as an inspiration for so many children and young adults like her.
