Imagine you’re in a metro, minding your own business, stifling a yawn and counting the minutes left till your destination when suddenly a bunch of women burst into a crazy jig right in front of your eyes.
Well, I don’t know about you, but some lucky ladies got to witness exactly that in the Delhi metro recently.
Interestingly, this group of women from Haryana was returning from a funeral at that point of time. The daughter of the woman who passed away was one of the dancers. Before you judge, this was their way of celebrating her life and memories. The impromptu dance was a tribute to the deceased, perfectly in sync with the village folk songs sung by the women.
All in the middle of a crowded train compartment. Must have been quite a sight!
Also, that’s a nice way to say goodbye.
