YouTube Just Introduced 360 Degree Viewing And It’s Awesome

VR technology like Oculus Rift will remain out of my budgetary reach for a long time. Which is why I’m super excited about the poor man’s virtual reality. Enter – 360 viewing on YouTube. Yes! You heard that right.

For now, the 360 degree is supported on android devices and a Chrome desktop browser. But they’ll soon enable it on iOS devices and other browsers too.

Check out this cool video from Red Bull to know what I’m talking about. You can use the mouse or the WSAD keys (shout out to fellow PC gamers) to navigate.
