Korean Artist’s Touching Tribute To The Ferry Disaster Victims Will Leave You Speechless

Raj Das

On the one-year anniversary of the tragic ferry disaster in South Korea that killed over 300 people, most of them students, an artist created a touching tribute to the victims. The painter live painted the life of one of the victims, from her infant days to her death. He used Corel Painter 12, where he even managed to age her face accordingly at every step.

What’s really striking about the piece, is that is ends abruptly, with a blue error screen. Without the proper context, that might seem like a mistake, but what he actually tried to show through that ending is how abruptly life can end.

Check it out.
