Elephants are highly intelligent animals. Baby elephants are, well… almost there. After falling into a muddy ditch, this 8-month old calf realized that she was in deep trouble and despite her mother’s frantic calls, (I don’t speak elephant but I’m guessing she was cursing the shit out of the situation. Mothers, eh?) she couldn’t manage to climb out.
Thankfully, a rescue team was alerted. Watch how they reunited the mother and child.
