Facebook Is Ready With Its First Solar Powered Drone Designed To Provide Internet Access

It might not be physically possible for most of us to do so, but imagine watching the earth from so far away, that you can actually see the satellites revolving around it. Years from now, there’s a good chance that somewhere on the upper layers of the atmosphere, way above commercial flight paths, you can see thin unmanned air-crafts gliding around the periphery. Those will be drones that will provide Internet connectivity to the remotest regions of the world.

Yes, Facebook has completed construction of its first full scale solar-powered drone, Aquila, as part of its Internet.org effort. Check out the evolution of the machine.
