There’s a direct correlation between the beginning of the year and the number of gym memberships. During the first couple of weeks in January, if you walk past a “fitness centre”, there’s a good chance you’ll see a bunch of people who’re there to enroll. But what’s even more likely is that most of the ‘new members’ soon drop out.
But those who stick around get a fair idea of what really happens in a regular gym. No judgments there – it is what it is.
