It’s not every day we get to hear inspiring stories of people who break well-established stereotypes and manage to do things that inspire awe from an entire generation of people. But let today be an exception.

The story of Muneera and Sakina, who call themselves Poetic Pilgrimage, are Britain’s first female Muslim hip-hop duo. It is important to mention ‘Muslim’ because unfortunately, many still believe that music is “prohibited”. Every thing these women do through their words and music, makes them brave and an inspiration to others.
