We all have that one friend who cannot take any joke hurled towards him, who likes to roast others but loses his shit the moment someone starts roasting him. Yes, the world is well-aware of entitled brats. The problem arises, when one of them ends up ruling over other people.

As if executing some officers in his cabinet for dozing off during his talk wasn’t enough, the paranoid leader is now leaning towards insecurity. How so? Well, he realized that not all praise coming his way was genuine. So what did he do?

He banned sarcasm.

We’re not kidding. North Koreans have been directed to avoid using satire against the regime. Indirect criticism hiding behind praise will now come under “hostile actions”. Among the outlawed phrases, the top one is “This is all America’s fault”, which was apparently being used to expose the regime’s regular stand of blaming all its problems on the United States.

According to a report in Radio Free Asia, a source in North Korea’s Jabang province said –

One state security official personally organized a meeting to alert local residents to potential ‘hostile actions’ by internal rebellious elements. The main point of the lecture was ‘Keep your mouths shut!’
