OK Go’s Latest Music Video Is Another Viral Hit And A Well-Deserved One At That

OK Go is well-known for its highly ambitious music videos. Their latest one for the song “I won’t let you down” is another treat for us viewers, who have now gotten used to the genius of the band.

The video, which is shot in a long single take, starts off with the band in a warehouse doing a synchronized dance routine while balancing on what looks like electric unicycles. The camera then pans outdoors where they are joined by hundreds of extras with umbrellas. This is where we get to know that the whole thing is being shot using a camera on a drone. It zooms upwards to reveal an aerial view of the band members and the extras executing a perfectly choreographed routine that is simply breathtaking. Watch the whole thing here.

I wonder if they shot it in Japan due to America’s strict aviation laws against the use of drones for commercial purposes within the country’s airspace.
