Last week, when we read that Lu Lu the panda created a new record for the longest recorded Panda sex session by humping making love with his mate Zhen Zhen for 7 minutes and 45 seconds, we thought we had seen it all.
But here’s the thing – one of the reasons the number of pandas are going down is that they only mate in spring time and female pandas are in heat for just 2-4 days every year. EVERY YEAR! That’s a really small window for Panda bros to get in on the action and do their needful to keep the species from disappearing. Which perhaps explains why male pandas usually hold on to their love juice for 30 seconds to 5 minutes max.
This officially makes Lu Lu the mac daddy of all male pandas. But 7:45 minutes was not enough for him. So, when the people at Sinchuan Giant Panda Research Center called onto Lu Lu to do his ‘service’, this time with a different partner, Mei Ling, he did not disappoint. In fact, he made the ‘love’ last for 18 minutes and 3 seconds! Guys, take note.
No wonder they now call him ‘The Enduring Brother’ in China.
