The Simpsons family is everyone’s favourite. But little do its fans realise that this dysfunctional family got a thing or two right about the future while the show was busy becoming the longest running series on television. One such eerie prediction was that of Donald Trump pictured as the president of the United States of America.

16 years ago, the Simpsons joked that Donald Trump would become the president of the USA.

Now that Trump has defeated Hillary Clinton in the 2016 elections, the writer of the show, Dan Greaney, has revealed his thoughts behind the ‘prediction’, leaving people stunned by his remarks.

He further added –

Not just that, Trump’s victory also saw a reaction from the executive producer of the show, James L Brooks. He tweeted –

Let’s hope Trump’s win will lead to a better and brighter future unlike the dreadful scenario shown in the Simpsons.
