Here’s A Crazy Idea – In 10 Years We Could Be Flying In Windowless Planes

Raj Das

The aviation industry is dealing with two major challenges now. First, how to tackle the rising fuel cost and second, how to lower the level of Carbon dioxide emission. The Centre for Process Innovation (CPI), a UK based organization that helps companies develop new products, has come up with a unique new vision for future commercial aircrafts, a vision that might help solve the aforementioned problems.

Their idea is to make commercial airplanes windowless, just like cargo planes. The lack of windows can vastly reduce the weight of the aircraft which means less fuel consumption and lesser carbon dioxide emission. But what about the traveling experience if you’re inside a plane without windows? Watch this video and find out for yourself.
