Our generation is put off by the concept of marriage, specially arranged marriage. We look at arranged marriage almost as a business deal that the man and the woman enter with defined roles to play. More often than not, the woman is expected to be the caregiver, while the man plays a more passive role in making room for a new person in his life.

“Love doesn’t just sit there, like a stone, it has to be made, like bread; remade all the time, made new.” – Ursula K. Le Guin, The Lathe of Heaven

This beautiful video shows how the changing gender roles in our society have even impacted how marriages are arranged nowadays, with both the woman and the man entering a lifetime of commitment with a refreshing sense of equality.
