The concept of dreams has been reiterated throughout literature. Walk into a bookstore and there’s an entire section titled “Motivation and Self-Help” dedicated to elevating mankind to a greater degree of satisfaction. Look through a movie library and there are sundry stories about the ‘pursuit of happyness’. Anyone who has ever wanted something, however, will tell you that all you need to materialize your thoughts are sheer grit and ability to debunk the myth of ‘No, you can’t do it.’
Talking about their own journeys to fame in these ads by Aristocrat, Ravichandran Ashwin and Rohit Sharma tell us how their road to success was not paved with roses. Even with the odds stacked against them, however, the two didn’t stop dreaming.
When they failed, they tried again. When they were knocked down, they got back up. Their unflinching confidence in their dreams is what led to them becoming two of the most valued players in the Indian Cricket team.
And now that they’ve made their mark on our hearts, they have their eyes on new personal goals.
