Game of Thrones packed a huge punch this week and the audience was left in complete awe. This week's episode, The Spoils of War, had a visually stunning battle, a long awaited Stark re-union and we also got some more of the much awaited Jon Snow-Daenerys potential alliance.

With Bran Stark's return to Winterfell as the 'Three eyed raven', we were glad to have another Stark back home and while Sansa was happy to see her brother alive, Littlefinger had no idea who he was dealing with. Like the clever man who has constantly manipulated everyone from Ned Stark to Joffrey Baratheon, Baelish tried charming Bran Stark as well.

Baelish gifted him the Valyrian steel dagger that was once used in trying to assassinate Bran back in season one. This was the dagger that drove Catelyn Stark away from Winterfell and though she could never find the man who ordered Bran's murder, this dagger became one of the factors for the war of the five kings.

Littlefinger tries being sympathetic to Bran to win over his confidence. He reminds him of his loyalty to Catelyn and endorses that Bran must've seen the White Walkers on his journey but is eventually left stunned by Bran's comeback. Baelish says:

"To go through all of that and make your way home again only to find such chaos in the world, I can only imagine."

To this Bran promptly responds:

"Chaos is a ladder."

This leaves Baelish stunned and there is a valid reason for it.

Was back in a Season 3 episode, The Climb, Baelish had said the exact same words to Lord Varys in King's Landing.

Watch the scene here:

Baelish's desire to sit atop the Iron Throne has been clear from the start and his scheming ways of manipulating people have caused a lot of problems in Westeros. Since the man is now in Winterfell and believes that he has a certain control over Sansa Stark, Bran's statement has put him back in his place.

Bran has been slipping his knowledge ever since he arrived at Winterfell. First, it was with Sansa when he recollected the time when she was raped by Ramsay. Then, it was with Baelish and finally, it was with Arya's list of names.

The Three Eyed Raven holds the keys to all the events that are yet to happen and has the power to solve all the mysteries and there could be no better person than Bran Stark to hold that place.
