Cheteshwar Pujara joined an illustrious list of players on Monday at Eden Gardens during the ongoing Test between India and Sri Lanka.

Pujara became the ninth batsman overall to bat on all five days of a Test match. He’s also the third Indian batsman to do so. The other two Indians are current India coach Ravi Shastri and ML Jaisimha.

Jaisimha achieved the feat in 1960 against Australia in 1960, scoring 20* and 74. Shastri joined list against England in 1984 – he made 111 and & 7*.
