Navratri is almost here and everyone’s gearing up for the festive season. But not quite like these girls from Gujarat who performed dandiya wearing skates!
The dance form was the idea of Meena Modi, a staking teacher who taught her students to perform the traditional dance form with skates on. Around 250 students took part in the dance, which included Garba and Dandiya. It’s quite a trick to pull it off with perfection since it requires a lot of spinning and jumping with skating shoes on, but these students absolutely killed it!
