If you’ve spent all your childhood headbanging to It’s My Life and Livin’ On A Prayer, then you’d be well aware of the lead singer of the popular American Rock band, Bon Jovi. Jon Bon Jovi is not only a rockstar but he is popular for a lot more than his amazing music.

The famous singer has been doing a lot to break the vicious cycle of homelessness and poverty. He founded The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation in 2006 where he worked to help his cause.

Through his foundation, he opened the JBJ Soul Kitchen. This place includes two community restaurants which provide food to people in need without charging a penny.

The first restaurant was opened in 2011 and the second in 2016 in different locations in the United States.

The best part about both of these restaurants is that they have no prices on the food menu at all. They provide food to both paying and non-paying customers and if one can afford to pay for the food, then just donate $20 (Rs 1,400). But if one can’t, then one can always help out in the restaurant.

Isn’t that amazing?

And if you think that free food means bad quality of food, then Bon Jovi makes sure that’s not the case. The restaurant serves a three-course meal based on American Regional cuisine to everyone who comes to the restaurant. And the chefs prepare many of the dishes with natural, locally sourced ingredients from their own garden.

This amazing gesture by Bon Jovi is heartwarming and super genereous.
