With the elections in Delhi coming up, here is a video made by the fellows over at Visibility Videos , reminding people of their right and their responsibility to vote and elect a democratic government.
They have tried to deal with all cliched excuses people give for not voting. But they have also tried to draw a parallel to a girl choosing and picking out a guy to get married to.
Trying not sound like feminazis, but we feel, that somewhere the message being underlined is that the girl HAS to get married no matter what.
You may choose NOTA if you don’t like any of the candidates, but you should vote.
AND
You may choose to not pick any of the prospective grooms right now, but you have to get married.
That being said, voting IS your democratic duty and responsibility.
Each citizen of our country is blessed with this right. Don’t squander it. Come out and vote.
