So DNA did a story on how Virat Kohli got ‘caught gazing’ at IPL host Archana Vijay’s ripped jeans, even though it’s pretty clear that he was looking at the piece of paper in her lap. They also said that the picture would not please Kohli’s girlfriend and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.
Obviously people didn’t take kindly to their journalism – and made that pretty clear on Twitter. But while they initially slammed their reportage, it slowly spiralled into sarcastic headlining on pictures of cricketers, with the hashtag #DNAReporting.
What ensued is a lot of laughter, which must have surely rung in the ears of those who decided to run the story on Kohli.
