We keep complaining how Bollywood keeps running the same old cliched stories with a new packaging in every film. But once in a while comes a film that not only looks promising but also has the potential to change the existing rules.

And who better than the legendary Amitabh Bachchan and ultra charming Rishi Kapoor to harbor a fresh change?

We’re talking about the actors’ upcoming project, 102 Not Out. This one looks anything but conventional, given that Big B will be seen playing a 102-year-old man who lives with his 75-year-old son, played by Rishi Kapoor.

The film’s first look just dropped and it looks pretty damn exciting.

102 Not Out is a cinematic adaptation of Saumya Joshi’s play by the same name.

The film is being directed by Umesh Shukla, who proved his directorial skills with the 2012 comedy film, OMG – Oh My God!.

The film will see Bachchan trying to break the record of the oldest-living man, which is held by a Chinese man in the film’s universe.

We’ve seen Bachchan play the old-and-almost-crazy man in Piku, a character that was loved by all. As far as Kapoor is concerned, he embarked the old grandfather’s role in Kapoor & Sons, just last year and became the coolest dadaji of Bollywood.

We’ve seen the actors play brothers in Amar Akbar Anthony and in Kabhi Kabhie, Kapoor was Bachchan’s almost son-in-law. And now, here they are, sharing a first of its kind father-son camaraderie.

Well, we’re super excited for this to happen. Let us know how you feel about it in the comments section below.
