The Cannes Film Festival started May 14, 2019 and will last till May 25, 2019. Though no Indian movie has made it to the festival’s official selection this year, various Indian celebrities have graced the red carpet and served interesting fashion looks.

TV actor Hina Khan made her red carpet debut at the 72nd Cannes International Film Festival, for her film, Lines.

On the premiere of Rocketman at the festival, Deepika, Kangana, and Priyanka shone in three completely diverse but equally amazing fashion choices.

Many were ‘bow’led over by Deepika Padukone’s magnificent Dundas gown.

Kangana, on the other hand, mixed a royal look with a desi classic and wore a Kanjeevaram saree with a custom Falguni Shane peacock corset and deep purple gloves.

And she opted for a fierce but classic Western look for the Grey Goose party.

And joining her was actor Huma Qureshi, who rocked a blazer dress by Balmain like no one’s business.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who made her debut appearance at the festival this year, paired her gorgeous Roberto Cavalli gown with Chopard jewellery, and absolutely nailed the look.

However, before she appeared for the Rocketman preview in the Cavalli gown, she attended the screening for the documentary film 5B in a pleated, white jumpsuit, apparently as a homage to Princess Diana’s look at Cannes 1987.

However, it was at the premiere of Pain and Glory, and the famous Chopard party–the jewellery brand that Priyanka is representing on the festival–that celebrities really stepped up their fashion game.

Deepika Padukone, who is representing L’Oreal at the 72nd annual Cannes Film Festival, changed four different looks through the day.

However, it was her final look for the festival that where she pulled all stops as she appeared on the red carpet in a lime green Giambattista Valli Haute Couture 14 tulle gown,  paired with a pink headscarf.

Kangna Ranaut wore a pink Michael Cinco couture gown, paired with Chopard earrings for her photo-op.

She changed into a sharp, all-white ensemble for the Chopard party.

On her second day at the festival, Priyanka was accompanied by her husband Nick Jonas. During the day time the two definitely had heads turning with their seemingly effortless style statements.

The duo turned up the heat as they appeared for the Chopard party in the evening, with Nick rocking a classic tux and Priyanka dressed in a lilac mermaid inspired Fendi dress.

But just like Deepika’s lime dress, it was Priyanka Chopra’s latest red carpet look that truly established her as the queen of all things stylish and elegant, as she wore a stunning white gown by Georges Hobeika.

Both Nick and Priyanka wore white and presented Riviera romance like no other. Heavenly looks? Hell yeah!

Actor Diana Penty also attended the Chopard party during her Cannes debut.

Actor Huma Qureshi also made it to the French Riviera’s Chopard party and continued to make blazers look cool.

We can’t wait to see what else the other celebrities have in store for the rest of the festival.
