If you grew up in the 90s and were exposed to MTV even a little bit, there are high chances you grew up around the legend of Britney Spears. The award-winning popstar who gave iconic pop songs like Toxic, Crazy and Hit Me Baby One More Time saw spectacular success. Soon in the early 2000s the cracks appeared as her divorce with husband Kevin Federline was highly publicised, she was reported to have repeatedly undergone treatment for alcohol and substance abuse.
The biopic, starring Australian actor Natasha Bassett, will include all the horrors and the fight to come back to a normal life. However, it is important to note that the singer herself has not approved the biopic and her representative was quoted saying, “She (Britney) will not be contributing in any way, shape or form to the Lifetime biopic, nor does it have her blessing.”
