The blessing of globalization has given Indians access to an unprecedented number of brands and labels which we couldn’t even have dreamed of a couple of decades ago.

A lot of companies rushed in, delighted at the prospect of a new market teeming with potential buyers. But these companies didn’t figure in our penchant for desifying everything we come in contact with. And that includes brand names.

Graphic designer Akshar Pathak illustrates (quite literally) what happens when we get our hands, or more accurately, tongues, on “foren” brands.
