We’ve often complained about the lack of kick-ass female characters in Bollywood but our prayers seem to have been answered. The trailer of A.R. Murugadoss’s Akira  has just been launched and it looks kick-ass.

Anurag Kashyap and Sonakshi Sinha seem to be locking horns in what promises to be a thrilling ride. Akira  is the remake of Tamil film Mouna Guru. 

Anurag Kashyap is once again making his presence felt in front of the camera. We’re pretty stocked to see him as the corrupt policeman who is after Sonakshi Sinha’s life.

Let’s hope Akira doesn’t disappoint us!
