The boys are back in town! Irvine Welsh’s iconic wasters of an irreverent generation – Rent Boy, Spud, Sick Boy and the ever loathsome Begbie are all hitting the big screen again. And I’ll tell you what, it’s giving us the hardest, most raging…. wave of anticipation in the last decade. The original Trainspotting, directed by Danny Boyle, came out in 1996, and the sequel picks up 20 years later. A lot seems to have changed but two things seem to have remained the same – the drugs, and Ewan McGregor’s face (the man doesn’t age!).
