My thoughts on #JokerMovie: cinematography was excellent, the acting was great, the character development was well thought out and intensely creepy. It was a good movie… But that doesn’t mean it isn’t problematic as fuuuuukkkk… pic.twitter.com/A3c1m2iQvz

Watched #joker ,its one of the finest movies I have ever watched 💕 ppl should stop comparing it with #taxidriver ! #joaquinphoenix and the film should get #oscar for sure! The last 20 mins was nuts 😍 will watch it at least thrice! 5/5 #ToddPhillips take a bow!

#JokerMovie still has me nervy hours after watching it. True Hard R film that is a complete departure (kinda) from the rest of DC. Amazing character piece that will see Phoenix at the Oscars next year. The score is pure ear candy and the cinematography is spectacular. Go see it!

#JokerMovie is unapologetically uncomfortable and disturbing.
— Logan (@logan_swish) October 2, 2019
It’s a slow burn that makes you feel the rough city of Gotham and what it does to someone mentally ill.
It’s creepy, sad, and brutal.
Phoenix gives a fantastic performance that’ll make you wish there was a sequel.
I’ll need some time to process #JokerMovie, but I’ll tell this. #JoaquinPhoenix is TERRIFIC. He literally lives in a dark place, somewhere between laughter and deep misery.
— Ashameera Aiyappan (@aashameera) October 2, 2019
Also consider this as a strong trigger warning if you’re battling mental health issues.
While most comic book movies create superheros from fantastical circumstances, Joker is a reminder that villains can be created from the very real harshness of life. A difficult film to watch, even harder to enjoy, but it’s true to what the character is for better and for worse.

People might see this as an attempt to justify the Joker’s horrific acts. Nevertheless an absolute masterpiece & probable contender for the Oscars. The Easter eggs were a pleasent surprise as well. You just have to watch the #Joker

Just watched #JokerMovie.

One of the most chillingly, complex, and profound movies I’ve seen. It was heavy and I am still getting flashbacks on some of the scenes.
Watch it with a critical mind. Celebrate the acting – not the character.
Breathtakingly beautiful. Joaquin Phoenix’s performance is both haunting and brilliant. The art direction and cinematography are stunning. Loved this film on so many levels. #jokermovie #joker #joaquinphoenix #dc #warnerbros pic.twitter.com/AgD5A0PKBr

If you think that life imitates art or vice versa, it can capture beauty but you must also believe it can see brutality. Todd Phillips’ JOKER could be one of the greatest written superhero films. Joaquin Phoenix is brilliant. Terrifying and devastating. #JokerMovie pic.twitter.com/90RYZoPFLJ

Joker is not the hero of this film, he is a villain whose motivation is defined, but not defended or glamorized. By the end of the movie, we understand his evil – but we don’t root for him, or it.

Halfway through #JokerMovie, dammit, I’m stunned all-over. Joaquin Phoenix, what have you made me believe thus far😱. This is majestic. @warnerbrosindia why didn’t you released this in HINDI, you’ve surely missed a lot here by not dubbing this in Hindi for INDIAN AUDIENCE 😑😑

#JokerMovie is one of the most singularly disturbing, unsettling and fantastic films ever. It’ll smack you the F*** awake. It’s unapologetically brutal, raw, and ugly. The score, cinematography, and direction are Oscar worthy as is #JoaquinPhoenix . You will not soon forget it… pic.twitter.com/545FOp3bNa

After watching Joker, I am sad that we don’t have joaquin phoenix as permanent Joker in DC universe. His portrayal of joker definitely deserves an oscar nomination. People clapped at the end of the movie. This shows everyone’s love for the character. #JokerReview #JokerMovie

I don’t know how people are able to find their voices to speak and talk right now… I don’t know how I will function after the movie is over.#joker

Trust me. I was not looking forward this. Always felt the joker was overrated and over played. I am stunned by this movie. Still processing it. If you are a die hard DC comics Joker fan( especially Killing joke)…you will love this movie
— Mike Kalinowski (@MikeKalinowski) October 2, 2019
#JokerMovie is a MASTERPIECE
— Zayyan Farooqi (@ZayyanFarooqi) October 2, 2019
Psychological and profound. Easily the best film of this year.
This is a paradigm shifter, changing the comicbook film landscape and the shaping the future of what it can and should be going forward
Deserves the highest accolades. pic.twitter.com/z1smEMPvo6
That movie is no joke. It’s gonna cause a lot of people to talk and that’s what it’s meant to do. Joker was a trip you won’t forget! All I can truly say is WOW! #Joker #ToddPhillips #Batman #SendInTheClowns

#JokerMovie – A well made, slow, deep, dark, intense & disturbing supervillain film. Hats off to #JoaquinPhoenix, man he jus stole the show.. such a powerful performance as Arthur.. killed it🔥 the film did the job, TOTALLY ❣️ #Joker @VettriTheatres the experience was awesome ❣️
— Ranjith RV (@ranjith__rv) October 2, 2019
#JokerMovie is a dark and emotional movie that hides behind the laughter of #Joker . A disturbing movie but powerful performance by #JoaquinPhoenix is the beginning of new era. Can’t wait for his full potential performance against Robert’s batman. This is raise of the joker. 5/5 pic.twitter.com/FwfHxmXB2O

#JokerMovie will scar you for life. Not in a good way and not in bad. Your heart pounds out of your ribs screeching, you will leave the theater with a smile on your lips and tears in your eyes.
— ravi teja (@ravirocksnow) October 2, 2019
If you don’t love JOKER, that is perfectly fine. By the same token, it is acceptable that I do. The violence is gruesome, the commentary is too real in this age, but it is masterful.
— Clayton Davis (@AwardsCircuit) October 2, 2019
Studios obviously waited until the end of the decade to unleash their best stuff. #JokerMovie pic.twitter.com/N4EZ9Fi2aN
