International Brand, Burberry recently got trolled on social media for confusing Star Wars: Rogue One fame actor, Riz Ahmed for BAFTA Award winner Dev Patel.
The official handle of the brand took to twitter to congratulate Dev Patel on winning the trophy for his performance in Lion at BAFTA Awards but instead posted the picture of Riz Ahmed.
This tweet costed the brand a bomb just as their apparels.
Burberry re-worked on their tweet but it was too late as the damage was already been done.

According to Daily Mail Burberry on Monday morning apologised for an embarrassing Twitter gaffe by releasing an official statement:
‘We apologise unreservedly for the incorrectly titled pictures of Dev Patel and Riz Ahmed posted late last night. This was a mistake that should not have happened and was corrected immediately. We have apologised directly to Dev and Riz. We are checking our processes to make sure this doesn’t happen again.’
The confusion may have happened as both Riz and Dev donned Burberry outfit at the illustrious BAFTA Awards.
