Barely two weeks after Pierce Brosnan endorsed Pan Bahar, a pan masala brand for which he is being bashed till date, the Hollywood actor has now said that he is deeply shocked and said he had been tricked into endorsing the product.
He told People Magazine he was told that Pan Bahar is a ‘breath freshener/tooth whitener’ which did not have any harmful ingredients. He also said that having lost his first wife, daughter and many friends to cancer, he was “fully committed to supporting women’s health care and research programs that improve human health and alleviate suffering.”
However, people weren’t very convinced with his explanations and outrightly bashed him on Twitter.
