Tragedy struck with a terror attack last night in Las Ramblas district of Barcelona, Spain. Reports say 13 people have been killed and 100 others have been injured in the attack. It's a critical moment for all of Spain and the Sikh community in Spain has decided to help out in any manner they can. They are opening the doors of their Gurudwaras to people to seek refuge in.

Harjinder S Kukreja from Punjab took to Twitter to inform people that Gurudwaras in Barcelona are offering help to those who are in need.

The Sikhs have been seen extending a helping hand wherever it is required. Their hospitality is well known and they have proven how large their hearts are once again by helping the terror victims in Barcelona.

Another Twitter user has shared the location of those Gurudwaras, so that the news can reach as many people as possible.

People all around the neighbouring areas of Barcelona are coming out to help their fellow countrymen during these tough times. They are offering everything from free accomodation to free taxi services. The transport authority has announced that metro and buses will not be asking for tickets.

It's a commendable job that the Sikh community is doing in reaching out to the people. We salute the spirit of everyone in Barcelona for staying strong and lending  helping hand in times of need. Let's all pray that Barcelona recovers from this tragedy soon.
