Jaydev Unadkat bowled a hat-trick maiden in the final over against Sunrisers Hyderabad to help Rising Pune Supergiant grab a vital 12-run win on Saturday.

Bowling a hat-rick maiden in the last over of a T20 game is the stuff of a champion and Unadkat has finally revealed the reason behind his magical over.

Jaydev Unadkat has taken 17 wickets for Rising Pune Supergiant this season. BCCI.

Amazingly, it was the advice of a 12-year-old kid from Pune which helped Jaydev take the hat-trick. The cricketer met Omkar Pawar last week on April 28 during a meet-and-greet session in Pune along with Faf du Plessis and Steve Smith.

Pawar advised Jaydev to bowl cross-seam deliveries to get a hat-trick which was later used by the bowler. The duo also practiced bowling cross-seam deliveries in front of other kids.

The left-arm pacer has been in sensational form in the ongoing season of IPL. Pune's second-highest wicket-taker has clinched 17 wickets so far.
