Their photo shoot by photographer Li Carter was set in a spooky isolated pumpkin field, which should have been a sign enough, that this ain’t some textbook maternity shoot.

So far so good. Just your normal belle-holding-an-umbrella pose.

But, oh wait. What’s happening?

The couple thought this shoot would be a great way to showcase their quirky sense of humour. Well, we are not disagreeing. 

Todd tells Metro.co.uk

“The process was so much fun. I had to gather all of the props, carve the pumpkin “alien pod”, pull out my alien toys, make arrangements with the pumpkin patch.”

Todd tells Metro.co.uk that his wife wasn’t into traditional photo shoots.

Well, everyone has their own idea of a happily ever after.

The couple ended up having a great laugh while the shoot was going on. Their maternity shoot is definitely an inspiration in innovation and creativity. We still have a smile on our face, you guys.
