US President Donald Trump’s Twitter blunders are nothing new to us. His tweets provide fodder to the trolls every time, and this time his Diwali greetings did the job.

While he celebrated Diwali, the festival of lights in the White House, after almost a week, he also forgot to wish Hindus.
Today, we gathered for Diwali, a holiday observed by Buddhists, Sikhs, and Jains throughout the United States & around the world. Hundreds of millions of people have gathered with family & friends to light the Diya and to mark the beginning of a New Year. https://t.co/epHogpTY1A pic.twitter.com/9LUwnhngWJ

Netizens quickly pointed out his mistake and trolled him brutally.
This is terrible. It’s unconscionable @realDonaldTrump did not know Diwali was a Hindu holiday. So embarrassing. https://t.co/Ggx9OWcuVO

It’s like when you study the harder little things so much that you forget the larger, obvious answer🤦♂️😂 https://t.co/GC0eBGmq0v

They cannot get anything figuratively right, either.

It’s a Hindu festival, you moron. At this rate you’ll be wishing jews a happy Eid and Muslims on Christmas.

Hey, whoever wrestled Trump’s phone away to post this: Pretty sure Hindus also have some interest in Diwali pic.twitter.com/eC27oXSoW0

Trump’s Twitter account posted a Diwali tweet that didn’t mention Hindus, then deleted it, then… reposted it again with a different link but still no Hindus? pic.twitter.com/6zRqLzOA0r

It took President Trump three attempts to get his tweets right, but till then the harm was already done.
It was my great honor to host a celebration of Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, in the Roosevelt Room at the @WhiteHouse this afternoon. Very, very special people! https://t.co/kQk7IvpSFo pic.twitter.com/tYlBABg4JF
