A 15 year old little Nikita Shukla, who suffered from cancer in such a tender age, was Hrithik’s ardent fan. She and her family accepted it with a heavy heart that she won’t live for long. One fine day, Nikita came to know that Hrithik was in her hometown, Jabalpur, shooting for Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Mohenjo Daro. Excited and happy, she expressed her desire to meet with her favourite star.

According to Deccan Chronicle , her wish was conveyed to Gyaneshwari who runs the hospital. Nikita was admitted in. As the sets were pretty heavily guarded, it wasn’t easy for the hospital authorities to pass the message on to Hrithik. But they somehow managed to get through to Ashutosh Gowarikar, who then conveyed the little girl’s wish to Hrithik.

In no time and without any thought, Hrithik agreed to it and scheduled a meeting with her on November 4th. He personally made arrangements for an ambulance to get Nikita to the hotel he was putting up in.

The girl was overjoyed to meet him and couldn’t thank her stars enough. He spent a good amount of time with Nikita and encouraged her to stand tall and fight the disease. Nikita expressed her gratitude towards him, then and later, many times. They also clicked a few pictures together.

Unfortunately, a week later, Nikita passed away. But with a wish, well-fulfilled.
