A boy holding one girl’s hand while looking at the other turned out to be relatable for many people, who have been using the picture to portray many sentiments.

But, but, as it turns out – there is an alternate ending to their story. A very good one.

In what the internet is calling ‘the biggest plot twist of this generation’, it is revealed that the two girls met each other for coffee after the guy just wouldn’t stop being weird and they hit it off. 

To the extent that they realised they love each other and got married, leaving the guy to cry alone.

Now this is the work of pure genius, and Twitter is really really loving it.

All’s well that ends well, I suppose (also the guy really deserved this).
