It goes without saying that the nursing staff are the lifeline of hospitals and our healthcare system. They are the ones taking care of patients when doctors aren’t around.
We may hate them for giving us those painful injections but we never realize the sacrifices they make to tend to those in need of help. Be it national holidays or weekends, nurses are always there to tend to the ailing. But behind that expressionless face, lies a heart so soft that it melts when it sees a soul in pain.
