Cooking, cleaning, washing clothes and other such household work are traditionally attributed to women.
Growing up, we are so deeply conditioned to believe and accept that household chores are feminine and that it’s a woman’s primary responsibility to run errands. Men, on the other hand, grow up with a sense of entitlement to live in a clean house, eat freshly-cooked food and have their clothes ironed in time without ever moving a limb. Even when a woman is working, nothing changes that for her. She’s still expected to play the role of a home maker.
We’re living in the 21st century but sadly, not much has changed.
A campaign released by the agency, JWT Milan, shows a role reversal depicting the hard-hitting reality which questions the very basic framework of our society.
