Do you love beer? Do you love Beer Pong? Do you love all things Harry Potter? Do you dream of playing Quidditch? Do you play Quidditch all by yourself when no one is looking? Then this New Year, we have the perfect game for you. And it involves all of these things!
It is called Quidditch Pong.
Quidditch Pong is basically Beer Pong but like the next level. The first thing you need to do to play this game is buy the set here.
Now make sure that all the participants are adults.
Once that is out of the way and beer is fully stocked, you proceed to play the game in the following manner: set up the Quidditch rings at the centre of the table and the Snitch cup at a distance. Now designate a Beater and a Seeker for each team. Take turns to shoot the balls at the cups of the opposing team. If a ball is shot successfully, then that cup is removed from the setting. The team that wipes off the maximum cups wins.
But since it is Quidditch, it is bound to be a bit more crazy than that. One can aim for the cup either normally or through the rings. The Beater must block the shots that are taken through the rings. But if the Beater interferes with a normal shot or blocks with anything but the bat, he/she will be penalised and a cup will be removed from that team.
The best part of the game – apart from all the beer that you will get to drink – is that you will get to use a set of spells, depending on the team you are. So, if you are in Hufflepuff, you get to use the summoning charm, Accio, which will allow you to add a cup to your side when your team scores a point.
